(1) Pool Architects for Design and Production and Pool Engineers

Trace Pool Design, a division of Lothrop Associates, specializes in high end residential, community pools and water features.  These are not backyard pools.

We are seeking good people, with skills as:
   • CAD drafters with engineering or technical backgrounds
   • Technical pool or aquatic designers
   • Engineers in Training (structures or MEP)
   • Experienced Architects or Engineers interested in our 
     pool division business
   • Production and Management Responsibilities.

We design and specify custom pool filtration equipment, steel and concrete pools and interact with the Department of Health
Automobile and experience with steel and concrete construction preferred.

(2) Healthcare Architect/Planner

Lothrop Associates LLP, a mid size architectural firm located in White Plains, New York is seeking a healthcare architect with a minimum of 5-10 years healthcare experience. Revit Experience a plus.

Job Responsibilities:
Managing resources and supervising in-house project personnel and outside vendors including consultants and contractors to ensure that projects are completed within approved schedules and budgets; meet quality standards set by drawings and specifications; and adhere to Medical Center construction site safety policies and procedures.

Providing support and direction of staff to ensure accurate cost estimates, complete and coordinated design documents, adherence to site safety and infection control policies and procedures, and ensuring high quality construction for projects assigned.  Supervise quality control of production drawings.

Other responsibilities will include: leading/supporting project team meetings with healthcare personnel to schedule and coordinate work; participating in cost control activities by seeking the most effective method of delivering services; reviewing documents for compliance with DoH standards and site conditions; and maintaining interface with client; provides timely reports to appropriate leadership and recommendations to permit prudent, fiscally responsible conclusions.

Minimum Qualifications:
Must have a professional degree in Architecture with professional registration, a minimum of five years of experience in architecture, design and construction, facilities management and institutional facility planning. Excellent CAD skills. Analytical ability to troubleshoot complex projects, to plan, design and estimate numerous projects. Knowledge of the execution of planning, design, and construction work. Thorough knowledge of Building and Zoning Codes, NFPA and ADA regulations, familiar with NIH, JCAHO and OSHA. Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

(3) Project Architects

Successful candidates will possess Bachelor of Architecture Degree and 5-10 years of experience in residential and/or public housing authority projects.  Strong AutoCAD skills and  capability for producing complete sets of construction documents are essential.  Revit Experience a plus. Please send resume and project list to resume@lothropassociates.com
